    • Valuable: I think this is valuable because I already have a long-term plan that will help me go on with my idea.

    • Valuable: I believe this is valuable because they would support my social cause and maybe even help me improve my ideas.
    • Rare: It is rare to get these connections since I have no relatives in the political environment.
    • Inimitable: This can be copied by other companies; however, that would be uncommon.
    • Non-substitutable: These connections would be really helpful, and I believe they are non-substitutable.

After doing the VRIN analysis, I think my best resource would be having the support of organizations that have the same social cause. This would be extremely helpful for my business but also to reach women who need help and are willing to work for me. It would open the door for more connections and maybe even to create a non-profit organization for other social causes.

  1. hey Jazmin, I think in your situation and product, having support from other organizations with similar views is very important and will make you feel more comfortable going forward with your ideas. I think finding the right people to work with and work around will be vital for your company's success.

  2. You did an exceptional job evaluating your resources and what you'd need. Great job! I agree that the cause and your employment/distribution network is what will make you highly unique. You won't need a ton of inventory and financial capital to get this running in terms of product, but I think you will need a moderate amount of income for marketing to recruit the women and to create awareness of your cause.

  3. Hello Jazmin
I found your post very interesting. I thought it was cool that you were in student government. I am also in student government and it has also helped with me leadership a lot. I think it is a very valuable skill. However, I also agree that your strongest resource is the people you know with the same social cause. This is valuable because it is such a rare resource. Great post/
